SPECS SERVICES BHD, affiliate of an international Christian agency based in Malaysia, is looking for born-again Christians desiring to serve God in a full-time capacity, to join the team in their main office in Bandar Baru Klang, Selangor. The following positions are available:

Junior Training Assistant

Role Summary

He/she will assist the Training Coordinator in planning and managing of all training and distribution work

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists the Training Coordinator in designing and implementing training programs which include, but is not limited to, the following:

    • Assists to coordinate all discipleship, leadership-related training
    • Assists to coordinate special projects
    • Acts as a resource person in all programs
    • Assists to coordinate all network and partners’ meetings in consultation with the Training Coordinator and Country Manager
    • Handles venue bookings and other transport arrangements for the training
  •  Assists the Training Coordinator in designing and developing training as well as resource materials.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining a filing system for all materials, documents, or other historical records.
  • Assists in maintaining a directory of past, current, and future partners, contacts, and volunteers, and assists in coordinating with them in the implementation of specific projects.
  • Assists in the data gathering and drafting of reports with regards to:

    • Needs and resources assessment of the Church
    • Trends analysis of the region
    • Persecution news or incidents
  • Represents the base in various Christian leaders meeting and gathering, as needed.
  • Assists in maintaining good working relationships with ministries and churches.
  • Assists the Training Coordinator in his role as property custodian of all training materials and equipment.
  • Performs all other functions as may be assigned by the Training Coordinator and Country Manager.


 – A heart for Christian ministry/mission
 – Degree in a relevant field, preferably Theology, Management, or Social Studies
 – Preferably 1-3 years’ experience in project management or training/educational events
 – Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English
 – Good communication skills both verbal and written, organizational skills, as well as proficient in Microsoft Office
 – Skilful in working with people with different personalities and cultural background
 – Skilful in teaching, facilitating, communications, and network building
 – A team player with good interpersonal relationship skills
